Role & responsibilities 1. Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Monitor production processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Implement and enforce production procedures and quality control measures. 2. Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality improvements. 3. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage factory staff, including production workers, supervisors, and technical staff. Conduct training and development programs to enhance team skills and performance. Handle employee performance evaluations and address any staffing issues. 4. Resource Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Oversee procurement and supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials. 5. Process Improvement: Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity. Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making. 6. Cost Optimization Identify opportunities for cost optimization across operations, procurement, and resource allocation. Control costs and manage the factory budget effectively. Lead initiatives to reduce operational expenses without compromising service quality. 7. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with merchandising teams to align production. Maintain effective communication channels within the factory and with external stakeholders. Address and resolve any production-related issues promptly. 8. Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory, and quality control. Preferred candidate profile Extensive experience in garment manufacturing, with a proven track record of managing factory operations. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and industry standards. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in factory management software and other relevant tools. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
