Role & responsibilities Job Summary The Volleyball Sports Video Tagging Specialist is responsible for analyzing and tagging volleyball match footage with high accuracy and consistency. This role involves identifying, categorizing, and logging key game events such as serves, attacks, blocks, digs, and errors using a specialized web-based annotation platform. The goal is to produce clean, structured performance data to support post-match analytics, scouting, and coaching insights. Key Responsibilities Review full-length volleyball game footage (indoor or beach) using a tagging platform or annotation tool. Identify and tag every rally event, including: Serve, Serve Ace, Serve Error Reception, Reception Error Attack, Attack Error, Kill, Kill Assist Dig, Block, Block Assist, Block Error Ball Error, Notes/Comments Ensure accuracy, timing precision, and consistency in event labelling. Follow established project tagging guidelines and video quality control processes. Meet daily and weekly productivity targets (e.g., 6 hours tagging per full game, 12-hour turnaround time). Report issues with footage quality, missing clips, or unclear sequences to the project manager. Collaborate with QA (Quality Assurance) reviewers to continuously improve tagging accuracy and efficiency. Participate in ongoing training to stay aligned with updated tagging standards and performance benchmarks. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of volleyball rules, gameplay, and terminology (indoor preferred). Excellent attention to detail , timing accuracy, and pattern recognition. Ability to stay focused for long periods while maintaining high-quality work. Proficiency in using web-based annotation or video analysis tools . Basic technical skills: file handling, video playback controls, and browser-based workflows. English comprehension for reading and following detailed tagging instructions.
