Job Description: We are seeking a talented and passionate Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our dynamic API team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in API integrations. As an APM, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our digital products to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth. Responsibilities: Product Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and communicate the product vision. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, translating them into a clear product strategy. Specification Writing: Write clear and comprehensive product specifications, ensuring that all technical requirements and user stories are well-documented. API Integration: Have a strong understanding of API integrations and work closely with developers to implement and optimize them. User Feedback & Product Improvement: Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for product improvement. Define and document detailed product requirements and user stories. Collaboration & Delivery: Collaborate closely with engineers & EM to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features. Candidates with a background as a developer, or API-based product manager will be given preference. The ability to understand and communicate effectively with technical teams is essential. Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends. Quality Assurance: Oversee product testing and quality assurance for the product, ensuring a seamless and bug-free user experience. Data Analysis & KPI Monitoring: Monitor product KPIs and conduct data analysis to measure the success and impact of product changes. Make data-driven decisions to improve product performance. User Feedback & Feature Requests: Act as the central point of contact for collecting, prioritizing, and addressing user feedback and feature requests. POS Partner Collaboration: Engage and communicate effectively with POS partners to ensure smooth integration and resolve any technical issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2+ years of experience in product management with a focus on API integrations. Experience working with Agile methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools. A customer-centric approach and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences. Proficient in writing Product Requirement Documents (PRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), API Requirements documents, User Stories, and assisting developers with the creation of Software Requirement Specifications or User Guides. Strong knowledge of API integrations is preferred. For more information, visit http://www.tabsquare.ai Key Responsibilities: Providing clear and concise direction to the engineering team on their deliverable, supervising their work, and driving product releases/project completion as per the timelines decided. Lead technical solution designs with the entire team; be a sounding board & guide the team for any tech-related issue. Work closely with the product managers and designers to refine stories, discuss, and finalize release timelines, and attend relevant meetings with stakeholders. Communicate technical direction to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Design the entire solution from ideation and visual design through the SDLC, life cycle activities such as extending or updating a system, planning retirement of a system. Getting hands-on with code rollouts as and when required to ensure releases go out in a timely and accurate fashion. Hands-on experience with third party integration would be an advantage. Hire, onboard and build a team of capable engineers across India, both in-house and through outsourced agencies. The Employee, as per business needs, may be required to undertake any other such duties as may be assigned in line with the employee’s position, skills, and capabilities. Requirements: 8+ years of Engineering experience, with at least last 3 years as an Engineering Manager preferably across a start-up / mid-sized company Experience of building and growing a team is highly preferred. Candidates must have an experience of managing in-house engineers, as well as the outsourced ones.
