We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Royalty Operations & Accounting Administrator to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance during Royalty Audits for various authors. You will need to collaborate with other departments, work with large data sets, perform analyses, and conduct research to ensure accurate audit proceedings. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in preparing author/auditor inquiry support, collating and analyzing spreadsheet data, researching various aspects of the audit, maintaining Fieldwork Tracking reports, and managing data extraction, storage, transformation, and processing through data analytics. You will also closely interact with the portfolio team, review claim reports, draft summaries, conduct rate analysis, review contracts, clarify issues, and collaborate with the portfolio team to resolve queries. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Prior experience in audit fieldwork or claims analysis is preferred. Proficiency in working with large data sets, conducting thorough analyses, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential. You should be detail-oriented, organized, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in English, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Access/SQL, and experience reading and interpreting agreements/contracts are required. Additionally, experience with workpaper documentation, knowledge of Tableau/Power BI, and the ability to draft SOPs and work on process improvement initiatives will be beneficial for this role.
