As a skilled Tableau BI Developer with 3+ years of experience in data visualization, reporting, and analytics, your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing interactive dashboards and reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making. - Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements. - Analyze data trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic decision-making. - Prepare and transform data using Tableau Prep, SQL, and Excel for effective visualization. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights. - Optimize dashboard performance and ensure efficient data retrieval. - Integrate Tableau with various data sources, including SQL databases, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery. - Manage security, user roles, and access permissions for Tableau reports. - Automate report generation and schedule data refreshes. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in Tableau (Desktop, Server/Online, and Prep). - Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction. - Experience with data preparation, transformation, and integration from multiple sources. - Solid understanding of data visualization best practices. - Knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx or Informatica is a plus. - Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
