Requirements Key Responsibilities: Set up electronic systems and devices Troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish industrial electronic equipment Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures Troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level and effectively identify failure trends Test electronic components to board level, using various methods and testing equipment Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level, including but not limited to: diodes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, other printed circuit components Update software and run tests on existing equipment Familiarity with and ability to utilize different types of test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies. Isolate problems between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test and resolve as necessary Record and interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to determine pass/fail condition and determine when further analysis is needed.
