You will be responsible for overseeing on-ground operations for warehouse processes in a high-volume, fast-paced 3PL environment. Your primary focus will be to lead a large team, ensure adherence to processes, and maintain effectiveness in rotational shift operations to consistently meet the requirements of national-level clients. Your key duties will include leading and supervising a team of over 40 ground staff in various functions such as inbound, sorting, packing, and dispatch. It will be crucial to ensure that daily shift targets related to productivity, quality, and turnaround time are achieved. You will need to execute operations as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and client service level agreements (SLAs), while also managing attendance, discipline, and performance of team members working in rotational shifts. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct on-floor planning, efficiently deploy manpower, and ensure smooth shift handovers. Regular updates and reports to the Warehouse Manager and Operations team will be part of your responsibilities. Proactively resolving on-ground issues, maintaining team motivation, and upholding safety, hygiene, and process compliance standards are also crucial aspects of the role. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 24 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with at least 12 years of experience in leading teams of 30-50 members. Prior exposure to e-commerce or 3PL environments is preferred. Strong team management, discipline enforcement, and shift planning skills are essential, along with a comfort level in system-based operations and working in rotational shifts, including night duties. A process-driven mindset, hands-on operational control, basic Excel proficiency, and shift reporting skills would be advantageous. This is a full-time position with benefits such as Provident Fund.
