As a professional in this role, your responsibilities will include identifying customer objectives, analyzing plant design documents, and executing projects according to specifications. You will be involved in designing, building, and integrating Power Plant Control (PPC) implementations and Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) & SCADA for the Consumer & Industrial and Utility renewable generation markets. Your duties will also encompass conducting and documenting various types of testing, supporting the development of new processes, products, and standardizations, and providing technical guidance for PPC, DAS, and SCADA. Collaboration with customers, Stem's Support Team, and Field Service Teams to resolve technical issues will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will assist in plant commissioning activities, manage project pipelines, and manage stakeholder expectations. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering and possess 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SQL databases, familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, IEC-60870, FTP, and competency in programming languages like Python, C#, Visual Basic, IEC-61131 are essential requirements. Experience in integrating networking hardware, understanding Power of Plant Control modes, and systematic design, tuning, and troubleshooting of complex control systems are also crucial. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and critical thinking capabilities are necessary for engaging with customers successfully. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering within renewable power generation, fossil power generation, power distribution, or battery storage industries is preferred. Experience with PLCs for DAS and closed-loop control integration, designing, tuning, and troubleshooting PI and PID loops, and familiarity with Industrial SCADA/EMS platforms like Inductive Automations Ignition Platform are advantageous. Preferred qualifications for this role include knowledge of SEL or Phoenix platforms, familiarity with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization, and an understanding of cybersecurity best practices and requirements such as NERC-CIP.,

You will also lead local recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts as part of our design team expansion in India. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional work experience, along with experience in mentoring and leading designers. You should have a passion for systematic design, scalable information architecture, and streamlined workflows, with a strong track record in product design, interaction design, and UX design. Your portfolio should showcase robust UI design, user-centered design practices, and prototyping skills. Additionally, you should have experience designing digital experiences for complex financial applications and be proficient in working with Figma. Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a keen eye for visual consistency and attention to detail. Experience in a B2B SaaS environment, particularly within the wealth management sector, is considered an advantage.
