Your responsibilities will involve troubleshooting and resolving server hardware and network issues, including hardware diagnostic and replacement of faulty components. You should have the capability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. As a Technician, you will be offering operational support at Saraswati Ford. Your duties will revolve around the day-to-day management of server incidents and networking equipment, along with project assignments and capacity management. Department/Unit: Refinery Operations Reporting To: Refinery Shift In-charge Job Purpose/Summary: To operate and monitor the electrolyte purification and solution management systems in the refinery, ensuring optimal electrolyte quality, balance of impurities, and efficient recovery of valuable by-products, adhering to process and safety standards. Key Responsibilities & Duties: System Operation: Operate and monitor pumps, filters, heat exchangers, solvent extraction units, and other equipment for electrolyte circulation, purification, and impurity removal. Chemical Dosing: Manage the accurate preparation and dosing of chemicals (e.g., additives, reagents) into the electrolyte circuit. Parameter Control: Continuously monitor and adjust electrolyte flow rates, temperatures, concentrations, and pH levels based on laboratory analysis and process requirements. Sample Collection: Collect electrolyte and solution samples for laboratory analysis at required Troubleshooting: Identify and report operational issues in the solution management system (e.g., pump failures, leaks, filtration problems). Perform minor adjustments or report to Shift In-charge. By-product Recovery: Assist in the operation of systems for recovering valuable by-products or treating waste streams from the electrolyte. Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety procedures related to chemical handling, confined spaces, and working around pumps/tanks. Use appropriate PPE. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area around solution tanks, pumps, and purification Data Recording: Accurately record operational data, chemical consumption, and readings in logbooks or digital Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Electrolyte Purity/Impurity Levels Adherence Chemical Consumption Efficiency System Uptime Solution Flow Rate Consistency Safety Incidents (Chemical Handling) Required Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in Chemical Process Operation or equivalent vocational Required Experience: 2-4 years of experience in chemical process plant operations, preferably in solution purification or hydrometallurgical plants.
