Work with IT to maintain proper infrastructure and ensure documentation and development standards are met. Monitor systems and suggest improvements. Collaborate with business teams to define Agile-based requirements and timelines. What You Will Do Develop feature enhancements, new modules, and resolve bugs to improve application functionality. Provide accurate and reliable effort estimates for incoming development tickets. Collaborate with local and remote teams of architects and developers to align on requirements. Maintain comprehensive documentation of design and implementation details throughout the SDLC. Be an active member of the global team offering 24x7 on-call support for e-commerce applications. Stay updated on the latest trends in SFCC, payment systems, security, and cloud technologies to address business needs. Regularly update stakeholders on the progress and status of enhancements and issue resolutions. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues with minimal impact. Work closely with QA to ensure comprehensive testing strategies and high-quality deliverables. Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate with business teams, partners, and vendors to define end-to-end e-commerce solution specifications. What You Need to Be Successful 3 to 5 years of web development experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce platform implementations. Over 2 years of hands-on experience enhancing and supporting e-commerce solutions such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and migrating e-commerce solutions. Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently. Experience with content management system (CMS) implementation and integration. Capable of writing responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly code. Able to work closely with project managers and stakeholders to refine, define, and capture technical requirements. Sound understanding of payment gateways and PCI compliance standards. Experience in developing RESTful APIs for seamless system integration. Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented frontend and backend code using JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, etc. Hands-on experience managing Git repositories in fast-paced development environments. Solid knowledge of coding best practices, software design patterns, and development standards. Bonus Points if You Have Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with sharp attention to detail.
