As a Resident Hardware & IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site support for computer hardware, software, and networking-related issues. Your duties will include diagnosing and troubleshooting system problems, performing installation and configuration of operating systems and application software, as well as setting up and maintaining LAN, internet connectivity, and basic network infrastructure. It will also be your responsibility to ensure the maintenance of system performance and security updates, in addition to coordinating with vendors for hardware replacement or service support. Keeping detailed logs for daily tasks and issue resolutions will be essential for this role. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a degree in Science or Commerce and have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in hardware and IT support roles. Your experience should demonstrate proficiency in installing and maintaining IT infrastructure, along with knowledge of basic networking, system formats, drivers, and printer/scanner configuration. Candidates with prior experience as a Resident Engineer will be given preference. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively handle end-user queries are also essential for this role. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires your presence in person at the work location.,
