Roles and Responsibilities: :Key Responsibilities General Systems Administration Execute routine tasks such as starting services, reviewing KQL logs, and reviewing Windows log files. Troubleshoot general issues with VMs and Windows systems, conditional access, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Conduct storage management tasks, including disk extension. Office 365 & Active Directory Management Perform Office 365 administration tasks. Manage Active Directory users and groups with standard administrative functions. Cloud & Virtual Environment Support Provide support for Azure environment tasks including tenant administration, EntraID (Conditional Access, RBAC, etc.), and related Azure services. Assist with VMware ESXi and vCenter administration for virtualized environments. Scripting & Automation Understand and execute automation scripts using PowerShell to facilitate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Networking & Security Operations Support main networking functions including DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, and remote network configurations. Assist with web proxy administration and uphold security best practices across systems. Understand and work with Zero Trust Network principles and associated technologies (e.g., Illumio, DMZ configurations, Windows firewalls, Azure Firewall, SASE). Storage Administration Work with storage systems such as NetApp, Nimble Storage, and Azure storage offerings. Analyze storage statistics to diagnose performance issues. Endpoint & Monitoring Tools Administration Configure and manage Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and related security portals. Maintain administration of Qualys, including client updates. Support tasks involving Microsoft SCCM and Remote Desktop Services. Utilize KQL for log analysis where needed.
