You will be joining IIT Kanpur Development Foundation (IITK DF) as an Officer in IT Infrastructure & Automation, based in Kanpur. Reporting to the Senior Manager- IT Infrastructure & Automation, you will be an essential part of the IT Team, contributing towards enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure, vendor management, automation of processes, and ensuring efficient system operations. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT processes, security, and compliance, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, aligning IT services with organizational needs, and budget constraints. You will also support the design and optimization of IT architecture, aid in consolidating multiple systems, transition from legacy platforms to modern solutions, develop IT dashboards for performance tracking, streamline CRM workflows, and optimize business processes through automation platforms. Your role will also involve ensuring regular data backup procedures, validating backup integrity, contributing to system audits for assessing IT compliance, security, and efficiency, providing technical support for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, implementing cybersecurity measures, maintaining system backups, and documenting IT operations. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of systems architecture, database management systems, and network/systems management systems is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work well in teams, and good interpersonal and communication skills are desired. Hands-on experience in ZOHO CRM is preferred.
