System and Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

System & Network Administration:

• Provide Level 3 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Perform system performance tuning, security patching, and update management.
• Monitor server health, analyse logs, and resolve issues proactively.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, network latency, packet loss, and internet outages.
• Apply and manage network security controls such as ACLs and firewall rules.
• Work with ISPs and vendors for connectivity and service escalations.
• Conduct network capacity planning, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Ensure high availability, data protection, and uptime of infrastructure.
• Enforce network and endpoint security best practices and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3 to 6 years

  of hands-on experience in system and network administration.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficient in managing firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, Sophos).
• Familiar with infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Experience with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols.
