System Administrator

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures.
• Manage Hyperconverged Infrastructure
• Manage backup applications & appliance
• Manage data storage systems
• Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other IT staff to support integrated systems.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and junior IT staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.
• Experience with networking protocols, system security, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred candidate profile:

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles.
