Job Title: System Administrator

Job Summary:

The System Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. They install hardware and software, manage system security, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure IT infrastructure performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and networks.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT systems.
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Perform system backups and recovery procedures.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement new technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of system security, hardware, and networking.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,253.96 - ₹26,149.18 per month
