System Administrator

As a Diploma male candidate from Coimbatore, your role will involve installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems such as Windows and Linux, as well as software applications on desktops, servers, and network devices. You will be responsible for assisting in the setup and maintenance of the network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, while troubleshooting network connectivity issues. Your duties will also include providing technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues, managing accounts, and ensuring data security. Monitoring server performance, managing backups, and applying updates and patches regularly to maintain system security and efficiency will be part of your responsibilities. You will assist in maintaining system security, including user authentication, access control, firewalls, and virus/malware protection. Additionally, you will diagnose hardware and software problems and implement solutions to resolve system issues, as well as maintain and update records for system configurations, installations, and network topology. Technical Skills required for this position include a basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), familiarity with hardware components (PCs, printers, servers), and an understanding of system security principles (antivirus, firewalls, encryption). Experience with remote desktop support tools would be a plus. Candidates with a Diploma qualification are preferred for this position, and individuals with a Bachelor of Engineering qualification are requested not to apply.
