As a Software Tester at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our platform and integrated software solutions in the medical domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional, agile development teams to design and implement effective testing processes for an existing imaging system based on Syngo. Your responsibilities will include formally and informally executing manual and automated tests, designing manual tests from requirements, developing automated tests, and conducting performance, scalability, and security testing as required. You will also identify and report software defects in a detailed and concise manner, stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in software testing, and work according to a QM system that allows audit-prove releases of medical products. Concentrating on the quality of the products by searching and documenting errors, gathering information about them, and actively discussing solutions will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with cross-functional, agile development teams - Design and implement effective testing processes for an existing imaging system based on Syngo - Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality - Add exploratory tests on a risk-based approach - Design manual tests from requirements - Develop automated tests - Conduct performance, scalability, and security testing as required - Identify and report software defects in a detailed and concise manner - Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in software testing - Work according to a QM system for audit-proof releases of medical products - Concentrate on the quality of products by searching and documenting errors, gathering information, and discussing solutions actively Qualifications Required: - Graduation or Post Graduation in Computer Science / Information Technology / Medical or Life Sciences - 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance in the medical product domain - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices - Expertise in writing automated tests with Frameworks like NUnit - Knowledge of frameworks for medical products like Syngo is highly preferred - Experience in R&D organizations and agile setups like SAFe/SCRUM is preferred - Knowledge of software development life cycle and software engineering processes of medical products - Software development experience in C# - Expertise in MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control systems like TFS, requirement management systems (e.g. TFS), and test automation frameworks (e.g. MF QC) - Willingness to work with multi-cultural teams and various internal and external stakeholders globally - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, business fluency in English,
