We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer with more than 6 years of expertise in data visualization, business intelligence, and data modeling . The candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights for business decision-making. Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models with a strong focus on data visualization and storytelling . Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure clean and reliable datasets. Optimize queries, reports, and visualizations for performance and scalability. Implement row-level security (RLS) , user access controls, and best practices in data governance. Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based platforms. Provide technical guidance and mentor junior BI developers within the team. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and recommend improvements in BI strategy. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 6+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data visualization . Strong expertise in DAX queries, Power Query, and data modeling . Solid experience in SQL, relational databases, and query optimization . Proficiency in data visualization best practices (color theory, chart selection, design principles). Exposure to Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) is a strong plus. Good understanding of ETL concepts and working with large datasets. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Good to Have Experience with other visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.). Knowledge of Python/R for advanced analytics. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
