Job Description As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. Excellent understanding, installing, administering and working knowledge of Oracle 12c through 19c databases Experience in configuring and managing Oracle RAC, Clusterware, Grid infrastructure, Oracle ASM, OEM and Shareplex, STRIIM/GoldenGate Hands-on with Oracle Database migration/upgrade using different methodologies Data Pump & RMAN Transportable Tablespaces. Hands-on database performance troubleshooting skills. DB Performance tuning skills are must. Experience with Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, and Python for custom monitoring and automation Experience with RMAN database backup and recovery Hands-on with CDB & PDB architecture, design and implementation. Experience with migration of Oracle Databases from On-premise to cloud. Experience in defining security standards and supporting security audits. Experience with DataGuard setup and management. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.
