Monitor storage performance, capacity planning, and health status.Backup, Replication & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage SRDF replication for disaster recovery. Create and restore snapshots, clones, and backups. Execute failover, failback, and DR testing procedures. Work closely with backup team to integrate storage solutions with backup policies.Troubleshooting & Optimization: Investigate and resolve storage performance issues. Troubleshoot hardware failures, disk replacements, and RAID-level configurations. Perform LUN cleanup, disk failure analysis, and recoverability testing. Collaborate with server, network, and security teams to ensure seamless storage integration.Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration. Hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, Unisphere for PowerMax, and Symmetrix CLI (SYMCLI). Strong understanding of VMware vSphere storage (VMFS, NFS, vSAN, vVols). Knowledge of SRDF, SnapVX, TimeFinder, and replication technologies. Experience with zoning on Cisco/Brocade SAN switches. Proficiency in RAID levels, storage tiering, and capacity management. Familiarity with backup solutions like Rubrik or Commvault. Scripting knowledge for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Experience working with Linux and Windows-based storage clients.
