Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychological Counselor at Symbiosis Centre for Emotional Wellbeing in Viman Nagar, Pune, India. The Psychological Counselor will be responsible for providing counseling services, conducting psychological assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student emotional well-being on a day-to-day basis. SCEW provides accessible, credible, and highly competent mental health counselling services to SIU students. The centre conducts webinars, workshops, and events on relevant topics, often featuring experts in panel discussions. During the Covid crisis, SCEW transitioned to online counselling to continue supporting students and addressing COVID-19-related mental health concerns. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Psychological Counsellor located in Pune, Viman Nagar campus. The Junior Psychological Counsellor will be responsible for providing individual and group counselling services to students, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records. The role also includes organising and facilitating workshops, webinars, and events on mental health topics, as well as collaborating with other mental health professionals and faculty members to support student wellbeing. Qualifications Psycho-therapy, Counselling, and Group Therapy skills Minimum 1 year of experience Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans Organising and facilitating workshops, webinars, and events Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field Relevant licensure or certification is a plus
