Symantec Encryption - L2

You are an experienced L2-level professional responsible for managing and supporting Symantec Encryption solutions within the organization. Your primary focus will be on Symantec Endpoint Encryption, ensuring incident resolution, and compliance with data protection policies. Your responsibilities will include administering and maintaining Symantec Endpoint Encryption on endpoints and servers, monitoring encryption status, troubleshooting deployment issues, and providing L2-level support for encryption-related incidents and service requests. You will collaborate with L1 and L3 teams for escalations and root cause analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating compliance and encryption status reports, ensuring adherence to organizational data protection and security policies, assisting in version upgrades, patch deployments, and configuration changes, validating post-deployment functionality, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and product optimization. To excel in this role, you should have 2-4 years of experience in IT security or endpoint management, strong hands-on experience with Symantec Endpoint Encryption, familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy, a good understanding of encryption protocols and data protection standards, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and relevant certifications such as Symantec Certified Specialist or Security+ are preferred. Nice to have skills include experience with other Symantec security products, exposure to enterprise-level deployment and automation tools, and knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.,
