SAP ABAP Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities

• Minimum

  6 years of strong ABAP development experience

  with SAP ECC as the core area of expertise.
• At least

  1 full-cycle SAP implementation project

  experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in

  RICEF

  objects Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Expertise in

  Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)

  and modern ABAP development methodologies.
• Develop and maintain applications using various SAP components, including:

• Workflows, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits

• Dialog Programming, Reports, SmartForms, SAPScripts

• Interfaces (ALE/IDoc), Conversion Programs

• Experience in

  ABAP on HANA technologies

  including

  CDS Views

  ,

  OData/Gateway services

  , and

  3rd-party integrations (REST/SOAP)

  .
• In-depth understanding of

  SAP ABAP coding standards

  and performance optimization techniques.
• Sound functional understanding of one or more SAP modules (

  SD, MM, FI/CO, PM, PP

  ).
• Familiarity with

  SAP ASAP methodology

  and related business processes.
• Experience in

  Pre-sales, proposal preparation, and RFP response

  will be an advantage.
• Review and estimate efforts for development requirements and change requests.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple teams, including partner organizations and project stakeholders.
• Take

  end-to-end ownership

  of project deliverables from a development perspective.
• Work closely with solution and project teams to ensure smooth knowledge transition for new developments.
• Participate in

  Unit Testing

  and

  Integration Testing

  phases.
• Perform

  debugging and issue resolution

  to support functional teams in root-cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain detailed

  technical documentation

  for all development objects and enhancements.
