This Bank is considering moving from Current Murex version 42 to latest higher version ( V56 or 58) to include changes Majorly impacting the Collateral / Market Risk / Credit Risk/ Ops and settlement functionalities and modules. There are also some impacts in MX technical areas, Reporting and EODs. We require an experienced Murex FO Consultant as a part of this upgrade project. Responsibilities Understand the Murex system set up at the client, organization of the support teams, end-of-day procedures, and the report delivery process Analyse the DataMart setup and the table structures for the purpose of identifying redundant objects, minimizing the execution time of batches, and seeking the possibility of reuse of objects Collect and provide detailed technical specifications/business requirement specifications Develop new reports and/or update existing reports based on client requirements. About this opportunity: The prime function of this role is to act as a Line Manager, subject matter expert, and customer strategy liaison, leading a dynamic team of specialists in ensuring the effective management, operation and development of the customers network, demonstrating in depth expertise of the technical solution, specializing in one of the defined technologies. As a 3rd line function the key focus is on proactivity, service improvement, vendor focus and customer collaboration. Job Role is responsible for managing and coordinating Network Operations and drive domain escalation management, with the support of team members and manage domain stakeholders. What you will do: Conduct resource and people management to lead and develop the team. Oversee stakeholder management ensuring effective communication and collaboration Overall System Administration of Ericsson OSS-RC/ENM and multivendor EMS/NMS and Integration of Radio & Core Network Nodes with OSS. End to end fixing the issues related to OSS Platform, Fault Management, User Management, Software/Hardware Management, STS Management, and OSS applications i.e. C.N.A., OPS, CHA, ARNE, RNO, SMO, BSM, and Element Manager. Integration of Radio & Core Network Nodes with OSS. Perform release upgrades on live OSS Servers and roll-out. To handle emergencies and on-call support (24X7). Solution Management for Customized Business Object - Templates / Reports. Accountable for initializing and organizing deep dive analysis covering network and service performance, identifying changes in behavior which impact contractual SLAs, the end user, or the optimal function of the network/service. Instigating investigations within the teams, and aligning the results across other Operate areas, delivery, and Design teams, within and outside of Ericsson. Ensuring all major incidents and events that are reviewed within the NOC, whilst opportunities to benefit from lessons learnt are utilized to their maximum potential. Driving completion of actions identified and leading the team to employ the same mind-set. Own and optimizing the operational interface with 3rd party vendors, reporting on vendor performance, risks and highlights, and driving improvements which reduce the time taken to resolve impacts or risks to service and/or proactive management of the network. The skills you bring: Bachelor s degree in engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent Shift timing- UK business hours. 15+years of relevant industry experience in RAN Transmission and Network Architecture in technologies of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G Expertise required with respect to Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson, NEC, SIAE, KPI formulae, KPI degradation and KPI troubleshooting Experience in E2E Technical architecture of the Service, Domain Expert in RAN/TXN/OSS/SACM. Preferably hands-on experience of Integration & Commissioning of OSS RC. You should have Good Knowledge & Understanding of SUN Solaris/UNIX (Preferably SUN Certified), TCP IP, Networking & Sybase environment Solid knowledge of operation and troubleshooting of multivendor telecommunication equipment s Good Understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Cloud technologies Behavioral competences & Typical Interfaces: Working with People, Relating & Networking, Leading & Supervising, Adapting & Responding to Change Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations MS Delivery Managers, Service Support Team, Automated Operations team What happens once you apply?
