As a QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of an agility-oriented project team, ensuring quality throughout the entire project lifecycle by working in Shift left mode. You will collaborate closely with developers from the project discovery phase onwards, participating in QA Strategy meetings, 3 amigos sessions, and test hugs, as well as conducting QA demos. Your responsibilities will include performing exploratory tests, including Session-Based Test Management (SBTM), to evaluate both business and technical aspects of the project. You will be responsible for automating tests and developing tools to support software testing, using Java or JavaScript, Selenium WebDriver, Page Object Pattern, and Rest Assured / SoapUI for API/Micro-services. Additionally, you will be conducting non-functional tests on web applications, focusing on aspects such as performance, accessibility, and security. You will create advanced test scenarios considering multiple levels of caching and analyze complex performance requirements through server-side, client-side, and location tests. In this role, you will play a key part in controlling and enhancing the quality of processes within Agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban, following Continuous Integration principles to achieve Continuous Delivery. To be successful in this position, you should have experience in testing web applications or those based on Content Management Systems, as well as knowledge of at least one object or script language. Experience with test automation at various levels, integration testing within CI/CD processes, and familiarity with software architecture and technologies to assess quality risks are also required. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for this role, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
