As a Network Security L3 (Palo Alto) professional with more than 10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting secure and efficient enterprise networks, particularly focusing on Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls and Cisco Switches. Your responsibilities will include: - Firewall Security (PALO ALTO): - Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and virtual appliances). - Manage and monitor Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering. - Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets for security and network performance. - Administer Panorama for centralized firewall management. - Monitor logs, investigate incidents, and troubleshoot firewall-related issues. - Plan and execute firmware upgrades, high-availability setups, and disaster recovery testing. - Switching Management (CISCO): - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst 2700/3000/4000/9000 series). - Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs. - Handle advanced L3 routing protocols on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). - Design network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability solutions. - Support escalations and conduct root cause analysis for complex network issues. - Collaboration & Documentation: - Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to provide secure network solutions. - Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Your technical expertise should cover: - Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles, NAT, VPNs, Panorama management. - In-depth knowledge of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP). - Identity & Access Management. You should have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 7 years dedicated to hands-on enterprise network security and team management. Strong troubleshooting skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Wireless/Enterprise, CWNA, PCNSA, PCNSE are preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is desirable. Knowledge of Network automation tools like Python and Ansible, as well as experience in handling large Enterprise Networks, will be advantageous.,
