Role Overview: You are required to oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a power plant during the assigned shift. Your role is crucial in ensuring continuous and safe power generation, adherence to operational standards, and quick resolution of breakdowns. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and monitor electrical operations of the plant during the shift. - Ensure uninterrupted power supply and maintain safe working conditions. - Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, motors, panels, UPS, DG sets, etc.). - Lead and guide the shift team for smooth plant operation. - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns promptly. - Maintain shift logbooks, records, and reports of operations and incidents. - Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. - Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for smooth workflow. - Monitor load distribution, power factor, and energy consumption. - Support in planning and executing shutdown, testing, and commissioning.
