We are looking to hire for the below roles: Design Engineer (Electrical - Heating Solution) - Under the supervision of the Lead Designer, the Designer (Engineer) is responsible for performing engineering activities and providing technical support to the design and manufacturing of industrial control panels and heating equipment, including component selection and sizing, managing electrical product certifications, and maintaining product compliance based on updated codes and standards. Candidates with experience in Switchboard Design, Control Panel Design (LV & MV). Candidates with a degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 2 years of experience can apply. Computer literate Advanced MS Office, AutoCAD Electrical skills • Working knowledge of CSA C22.2 No.14 and UL508A. • Familiar with CSA C22.1 and NFPA 70. • Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical. • Working knowledge of hazardous location certifications and standards, including CSA C22.2 No.30, UL/EN/IEC 60079-0 and 60079-1. • Familiar with ATEX and IECEx hazardous location electrical equipment certification and product requirements. • General knowledge with low voltage power control equipment, including step controller and SCR. • PLC programming experiences, particularly Automatic Direct and Alley Bradley Micro 800 series PLC, is an asset. • Ability and desire to learn with a positive attitude, experiences and examples of supervisors Design Engineer - (Mechanical - Heat Tracing) - Design of small to large projects or several small projects simultaneously • Teamwork - Interact with the other designers, Project Manager, to generate isometric drawings • Interaction with customer (internal or external) representative on technical issues • Create and review drawings using propreitary Thermon softwares or methodology • Prepare and review drawings for accuracy • Check and approve drawings prepared by other designers • Conduct site surveys to gather information required for heat tracing design (if necessary) • Be familiar with and adhere to Thermon procedures and guides related to quality and project execution • May require travelling to project site locations for field support during construction/commissioning • May require travelling to offshore locations Thermon offices, client/EPC/Consultant offices for short/long periods • Adhere to company's policies, procedures and standards • Responsible for communicating with the lead designer, the evolving requirements on the schedule, staffing and budget deviations upon discovery • Ability to work in 3D modeling environment's
