Understanding of end-to-end parameters of electrical/electromechanical components such as Switch gear items like MCB, MCCB, contactors, fuses, relays, switches, SSR, RF Generators, Sensors, Filters etc. Motor Driver and controller design, election and integration Critical Power and control components for the Application, Motor drives and control system. Prepare /Review Instrument Index, I/O list, Control Architecture, panel design and knowledge in selection of instrument parts like pressure transmitter, pressure gauge, vacuum gauges, thermocouples, RTD sensor, flow transmitters, PID controllers. Thorough technical knowledge of electrical engineering design concepts and applications - components, schematics, electrical system, OEM selection. Electrical CAD tools: E3s, AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken, LabVIEW etc. will be a plus. Test fixture build experience will be a plus. Hands on experience with component & system level troubleshooting and handling various laboratory equipment. Knowledge in product certification process (Handle testing at EMC/ Safety) labs is preferred. Knowledge in Documentation, release process, Reliability testing. Engineering change management methodology. Working Knowledge on any Engineering change management software packages like, Oracle, SAP etc., Knowledge on PLM software like, TCE (Team Center Engineering) will be plus. Demonstrated computer skills to include MS Office, Visio and/or other software / systems necessary for the performance of the job.
