Appointment will be on a third-party roll. Position Summary: This position will be responsible for Setup, Regular part Changeovers / Setup’s monitoring, Production Control, Machine specific & Part Quality Troubleshooting, Tooling etc. Education & Experience: I.T.I. (Machinist/Machinist Grinder/Turner) or /Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering. 3 -4 years of experience in manufacturing sector with experience of Sliding head, Turn mill /or Swiss type Machines Essential Duties & Responsibilities: CNC Programming & setup /Change over Production parts, & change the tooling of the as per the tooling sheet Responsible for ensuring correct materials, Route Cards, drawings are used to produce components, observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings & to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer & dial caliper Adjust machine control, including part process verify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instruments post edit CNC program to fine tune process for optimum performance maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work Program & adjust CNC programming for Turn mill & Sliding Head CNC machines Inspect parts for quality assurance using precision tools to meet as per the drawing STD Troubleshoot & maintain CNC machines for optimal performance. Resolve machine, tooling, & quality issues & by tuning offset correction Functional Competencies: Hands on experience in Production floor & Program proving Hands on experience on Turn Mill & Swiss Type Sliding Head Machines like Tsugami, Tornos & Citizen Problem solve & make decisions on ways to decrease cycle times & efficiency of setups. Hands-on experience in programming for Swiss type sliding head machines. Good in trouble shooting Good Knowledge & understanding of Machine Utilization & OEE Selection of cutting tools, their life & supplier selection Good in drawing reading & GD&T.
