About the Team:

The makeup of the team includes 10-11niche Operations Experts fully responsible for all back-office processes and some front-end processes of SwiftRe suite landscape. In line with our strategy, the team is expanding its efforts onto newer Solutions and is expected to rise in volume and complexity.

About the Role:


SwiftRe is an efficient web-based platform providing mid-market and facultative business to our clients. It is aneasy to use and efficient online risk placement, claims and accounting channel for clients. This position includeshandling a client portfolio with detailed operational focus, steering parameters from post-bind experience andcontributing in process and system development.


The role comprises, but not limited to, the following elements:
. Being a role model on own expertise area and deliver outstanding performance consistently.
. Core portfolio comprises of Single Fac risks via SwiftRe Platform and Fac Facilities via Fac Portal
. Focusing on optimal automation to drive business growth and delivering differentiated experience toour clients with a direct impact on business growth, internally and externally.
. Keen eye for detail, base decision making on data analytics.
. End to end process of managing portfolio and creating client delight - Monitoring of outstandingstatements, overall cash flow management and escalations needed towards delivering business sensitive operational results - with undiluted focus on Ease of Doing Business.
. Ensuring that clients submit timely and quality data as per contractually agreements, subsequentanalysis & uploading of insurance data into the system.
. On exceptional need basis, supporting our clients in administering their contracts and processingstatements on behalf of clients in SwiftRe portal.
. Coordination of technical and financial accounting issues with diverse market accounting teams invarious Swiss Re Units and regions.
. Providing client administration and support regarding tools, processes and record management.
. Training the clients on a regular basis to update their knowledge on SwiftRe's accounting and payments processes.
. The role also includes strong interactions with our internal cross-functional and Underwriting teams (viaemail, phone and in-person visits)
. Identify opportunities for simplification, support process improvements and system enhancement.
Collaborate with Business Expert Networks on regular basis for sustainable implementation of clientprocesses.
. Participation in User Acceptance Testing and reporting out of user summary as required.
. Executing Operations strategy in alignment with our mandates of fulfilling Data Quality, Governanceand Risk Management requirements.
. Support global automation and client differentiation initiatives.

Operational and Strategic acumen: Understands the underlying business dynamics and pro-actively improvesprocesses and escalates need for support towards delivering business-sensitive operational results.Focus on automation and process improvement: Is able to identify opportunities to collaborate, understandand improve the processes within the team while being a part of the cross-functional value chain and is able toanalyze, execute and deliver such improvements. Focus on upcoming technological changes and automation including development of next phase of SwiftRe suite.
Taking initiative/decision making: Ability to make decisions within a very dynamic business environment,demonstrates a methodical/rational thought process and takes initiative in collaboratively finding solutions.Commercial Mindset and Big Picture thinking: Possesses understanding of the organization's vision, missionand strategy of Commercial Culture. Demonstrates a clear commitment towards steering business outcomes
according to Divisional priorities.

About You:


. Excellent verbal and written business communication skills. Proficient speaking knowledge of French,German or Spanish language would be an added advantage.
. Minimum Bachelor/Masters in Finance, Accounting or related fields. Insurance/Finance relatedcertifications will be an added advantage. Outstanding performer with minimum 7-8 years of workexperience preferably working closely with diverse business functions and proven ability to work cross functionally and virtually.
. Pro-actively approaching business challenges and high level of business acumen to balance delivery ofobjectives.
. Ability to work together collaboratively and constructively in a team/group environment.
. Strong Analytical skills (flair for figures), including Advanced Excel (Macros, Power BI). Workingknowledge of data science tools and previous experience on portfolio steering techniques would be astrong advantage.
. Awareness of Market trends & developments (new product developments, regulatory changes, financialrequirements).
. Ability to challenge the status quo & manage multiple stakeholders (multi-cultural and cross functionalteams in a virtual set-up).
. Understanding business rationale which enables business decisions creating a positive impact forclients.
. Ability to substantially contribute to and work with multi-cultural and cross functional teams in a virtualset-up.
. Being an agile team player with the ability to manage own workload and demonstrate a sense ofAccountability, Responsibility and Commitment.
