Job Title: Fire & Safety Engineer Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Location: Hotel Pushpak, Kalpana Square, BBSR Reports to: HSE Manager / Safety Head / Plant Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Fire & Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring the workplace complies with fire safety regulations and standards. This role involves evaluating risks, implementing fire prevention strategies, and maintaining all fire safety systems and equipment. The engineer will also lead training sessions and respond to emergencies as needed. Key Responsibilities:Conduct risk assessments to identify fire hazards in the workplace Design and implement fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers) Develop, review, and update fire safety policies and emergency procedures Conduct fire drills, evacuation plans, and safety training for employees Ensure compliance with national and international fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA, OSHA) Perform inspections and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment Investigate fire incidents and report findings to management Coordinate with local fire departments and emergency services Maintain fire safety documentation and reports Advise on fire-resistant materials and structural modifications Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering / Safety Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in Safety) Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferred) Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in fire and safety engineering Knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and firefighting equipment Experience in industrial, construction, or oil & gas environments is a plus Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / NFPA (advantageous) Key Skills:Strong knowledge of fire detection and protection systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and training abilities Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations Familiarity with safety audits and compliance procedures Work Environment:May involve working at heights, confined spaces, or hazardous environments Fieldwork and inspections are part of the routine Must be available for on-call emergencies or drills

Responsibilities: Prepare tandoori items: kebabs, naan, rotis, vegetables/meats Operate clay oven with safety protocols Perform mise-en-place: wash, chop, marinate Monitor cooking for quality and presentation Maintain station hygiene and kitchen safety Support stock control, order ingredients Assist other kitchen sections as needed Qualifications: HS diploma; culinary certificate preferred 1–3 years kitchen experience, ideally with tandoor Strong food safety and sanitation knowledge Good communication and teamwork Ability to handle fast-paced kitchen demands
