About Us: Spring is a women’s fashion brand that blends elegance with seasonal freshness. Our collections include ethnic wear, western wear, fusion outfits, and seasonal exclusives. With a strong offline brand identity and growing customer base, we are now looking to expand our creative and sourcing team. Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fashion Designer cum Procurement Manager who will not only conceptualize and design our collections but also manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and vendor coordination. This hybrid role is crucial to ensuring both creativity and cost-effective execution in alignment with the brand’s vision. Key Responsibilities: Fashion Design: Research fashion trends, seasonal colors, and market preferences to develop fresh concepts aligned with Spring’s brand identity. Design collections across categories like kurtis, tops, dresses, co-ords, ethnic and fusion wear. Create detailed tech packs, sketches, and mood boards for sampling and production. Coordinate with tailors/sample makers to ensure accurate prototyping. Conduct fittings and modify samples to meet style, comfort, and aesthetic standards. Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and onboard vendors/suppliers for fabrics, trims, buttons, accessories, and packaging material. Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and MOQs (minimum order quantities). Maintain a balance between quality and cost-efficiency while ensuring timely procurement. Track inventory levels of design materials and initiate timely restocking. Visit local markets and supplier hubs (like Surat, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, etc.) as and when required. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field. Proven experience in both design and procurement/sourcing (preferably 2+ years). Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and local supplier networks. Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW. Excellent negotiation, time management, and multitasking skills. Passion for women’s fashion and eye for detail.
