Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the data scientists" team and data specialists, providing guidance and support. - Educate, lead, and advise colleagues on innovative techniques and solutions. - Work closely with data and software engineers to implement scalable sciences and technologies company-wide. - Conceptualize, plan, and prioritize data projects in alignment with organizational objectives. - Develop and deploy analytic systems, predictive models, and explore new techniques. - Ensure that all data projects are in sync with the company's goals. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related technical field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches. - Proficiency in communicating quantitative analysis results effectively. - Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl, etc.). - Familiarity with statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, regressions, and experience in manipulating data sets using statistical software (e.g., R, SAS) or other methods. Your Role: - You should have 4-5 years of experience with hands-on experience in data science and machine learning techniques & algorithms for supervised & unsupervised problems, NLP, and computer vision, preferably in the Life Sciences domain. - Proficiency in data mining and data cleansing techniques is required. - Excellent understanding and hands-on experience in building Deep-learning models for text & image analytics using tools such as ANNs, CNNs, LSTM, Transfer Learning, Encoder and decoder, etc. - Proficient in coding in common data science languages & tools like R, Python, Go, SAS, Matlab, etc. - Experience with common data science toolkits such as NumPy, Pandas, StatModel, Scikit learn, SciPy, NLTK, Spacy, Gensim, OpenCV, MLFlow, Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc. - Solid understanding and hands-on experience of data science and machine learning techniques & algorithms for supervised and unsupervised problems, such as k-NN, Regression, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Tree, Random Forests, k-means, PCA, SVD, GenAI (LLM), etc. - Familiarity with common data science frameworks like Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, XGBoost, H2O, etc. - Exposure or knowledge in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, Pyspark, etc. Your Profile: - You should hold a Post-Graduate degree (M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc, etc) with experience in deploying models in production. - Experience in data management and visualization tasks. - Excellent understanding and hands-on experience in NLP and computer vision. - Familiarity with database systems of SQL and NoSQL. - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, MS PowerBI, etc. - Ability to think creatively to solve real-world business problems, possessing critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. - Data-oriented personality with hands-on experience in GenAI. - Good presentation skills with proficiency in verbal and written communication. - Knowledge or hands-on experience of exposure to large-scale datasets and respective tools & frameworks like Hadoop, Pyspark, etc. - Knowledge or hands-on experience in the deployment of models in production & deployment.
