Job Summary. Were seeking a UI/UX Designer passionate about creating delightful, child-friendly, and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate is skilled in designing playful and intuitive interfaces tailored to young learners and educators. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the app design supports learning goals while being visually appealing and fun to use. Key Responsibilities: User-Centered Design Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes based on user research. Conduct usability tests to validate design choices and iterate based on feedback. UI/UX Design Design playful, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces for children and educators. Develop design prototypes that bring gamified elements like badges, leaderboards, and animations to life. Ensure accessibility and usability for diverse users, including children of varying ages. Collaboration Work closely with product managers, developers, and curriculum designers to align designs with educational objectives. Collaborate with game designers and illustrators to incorporate engaging visual elements. Creative Problem-Solving Identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance user engagement and learning outcomes. Design Systems & Consistency Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and reusable components to ensure consistency across the app. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably with children-focused apps or games. Design Skills: Strong portfolio showcasing playful and engaging UI/UX designs. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Knowledge of animation and interaction design principles. User Research: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying feedback. Soft Skills: Creativity, empathy, and a passion for designing for children. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in gamified app design. Familiarity with cognitive and developmental principles in childrens learning. Basic knowledge of front-end development to collaborate effectively with developers.
