As a Sustainability Delivery Partner at Big W, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of sustainable products and packaging for all own brand products within the business. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with the commercial and development teams as well as suppliers to support the achievement of sustainability goals and targets. Your efforts will contribute to the realization of Big W's real care initiative and Better Together for a Better Tomorrow initiatives. You will work closely with the sourcing and commercial teams to deliver own brand products with sustainable attributes in line with the sustainability plan. Additionally, you will partner across the business to implement the Woolworths Group Cotton Policy within Big W, including meeting reporting requirements set by the plan. This will involve establishing policies and procedures to ensure sustainability requirements are met across product ranges, encompassing both hardgoods and softgoods. Your role will also focus on implementing sustainable materials to deliver sustainable products within the own brand range, ensuring the entire Big W ecosystemfrom sourcing to customers, including transit and product packagingadheres to sustainability practices. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be key to supporting their comprehension of Big W's sustainability requirements and the essential framework for successful delivery. By working with the Woolworths Group team, you will provide insight into the Big W sustainability roadmap for sustainable materials, ensuring ongoing reporting and governance to meet established timelines. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in managing sustainable materials and integrating them into product development processes. You should possess a strong understanding of the risks and challenges present in soft goods and hardgoods supply chains related to sustainability. Experience in managing large programs of work to fulfill commitments within specific deadlines is essential, with a preference for prior knowledge of cotton and raw material supply chains in the Asia region.
