Your role will involve creating and enforcing EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Leading sustainability drives, ensuring compliances, monitoring regular statutory reports submission, conducting impact assessments to identify and mitigate EHS risks, implementing measures to prevent health hazards, and leading the EHS digitization journey will be critical aspects of your job. You will report to the Site Operation Head and your responsibilities will include managing waste disposal activities, overseeing the operation of wastewater treatment plants and scrubbers, leading hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal activities, liaising with disposal and recycling vendors, and maintaining documentation records. Additionally, you will lead the occupational health center, monitor employee health through regular checks and surveillance programs, conduct industrial hygiene monitoring, and develop measures to control health hazards.
