Surveyor

To carry out accurate land and site surveys, establish reference points, verify site levels, prepare survey reports, and support layout marking for civil execution. Ensures precise measurements for foundations, roads, utilities, and structural alignment across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Surveying & Measurement

• Conduct land surveys using Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS equipment.
• Mark grid lines, plot boundaries, platforms, levels, and alignment reference points.
• Measure elevations, contours, and site topography.

2. Layout Marking & Verification

• Support civil teams in marking foundations, columns, footings, roads, drains, and utilities.
• Verify layout accuracy against approved drawings.
• Ensure marking errors are eliminated before construction.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare survey reports, measurement sheets, and level books.
• Maintain survey logs, raw data, and instrument records.
• Create digital survey files and share with Project Engineers and Planning teams.

4. Drawing Interpretation & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and planning teams.
• Interpret drawings, contour maps, and land development plans.
• Support plot demarcation and handover activities.

5. Equipment Handling & Maintenance

• Ensure proper operation, calibration, and upkeep of Total Station and Auto Level instruments.
• Report calibration needs or repair requirements.

6. Site Coordination

• Work closely with Site Engineers for marking and measurement requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors during excavation, levelling, and external development works.
• Support QA/QC team with level verification and alignment checks.
