In the position of a Mixed Methods UX Researcher, you will be instrumental in shaping user experiences across various content categories such as live sports, movies, and original content. This senior role requires proficiency in conducting in-depth field interviews as well as utilizing tools like SQL, Python, and survey statistics. Your key contributions will involve leading research projects from start to finish, utilizing a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to influence product strategy and vision. The Design team at JioHotstar plays a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences. Comprising Product Design, UX Research, and Systems & Standards, our team of 30 members collaborates on various design aspects including data insights, interface design, prototyping, user testing, motion graphics, and illustrations. Reporting to the Group UXR Manager, your responsibilities will include leading end-to-end research projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, framing research questions, ensuring timely project delivery, translating user behaviors into actionable insights, supporting junior researchers, contributing to internal UXR frameworks, and staying updated on evolving research methods. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 5-8 years of experience in UX or product research, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Proficiency in research design, statistical tools, and survey platforms is essential, along with experience in consumer-facing digital products, particularly in media, gaming, or content platforms. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and a portfolio showcasing mixed-method projects are crucial for success in this role. Ideally, candidates should hold a Graduate or Masters degree in Psychology, HCI, User Experience, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or related fields.
