Core Administrative: ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the housing/credit/other co-operative society. Maintain statutory registers, records, and member files as mandated by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies. Prepare and circulate notices, agendas, and minutes for managing committee and general body meetings. Implement resolutions passed by the managing committee or general body. manage Security, housekeeping, gardener and other society staff. Financial Management: Ensure timely collection of maintenance charges, loan repayments, or other dues from members. Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of monthly/annual financial statements. Manage society’s bank accounts, deposits, and withdrawals with proper authorization. Arrange statutory audits and support auditors with required records. Monitor budgets, expenses, and ensure financial discipline. Compliance & Legal Duties by collabrating with our CA and legal team for below initiatives: File mandatory returns, reports, and documents with the Co-operative Registrar and other authorities. Ensure compliance with the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, Rules, and Bye-laws. Handle legal correspondence, disputes, and liaise with lawyers if required. Ensure timely renewal of statutory registrations (e.g., property tax, licenses if applicable) Member & Staff Relations: Act as the primary point of contact between members and the managing committee. Address grievances, queries, and complaints from members fairly and promptly. Supervise staff (clerks, maintenance personnel, security, housekeeping, etc.) and assign duties. Foster a cooperative, transparent, and healthy environment among members and employees. Property & Facility Management (Housing Societies): Supervise repair, maintenance, and upkeep of common areas, equipment, and amenities. Oversee contracts with vendors (security, cleaning, lift maintenance, etc.). Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and municipal guidelines. Thank you.
