Role Overview:We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Health Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with patients, guiding them through treatment options, facilitating appointments, and supporting them throughout their surgical journey. You will be the key touchpoint between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a smooth, reassuring, and informed experience. Key Responsibilities:Connect with patients who inquire about surgical consultations or treatments. Understand patient concerns, medical history, and treatment needs through phone or in-person conversations. Coordinate appointments with doctors, hospitals, and diagnostic centres. Explain treatment options, procedures, costs, and hospital facilities to patients. Convince and guide patients to choose the right treatment plans and hospitals based on their requirements. Act as a single point of contact for the patient throughout their surgical process—from consultation, admission, and surgery to discharge. Ensure patients are well-informed and emotionally supported during their journey. Maintain accurate patient records, appointments, and treatment updates in the system. Collaborate with internal teams, partner hospitals, and healthcare providers for smooth execution of services. Provide post-surgery follow-up support where needed. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, counselling, or a related field (preferred). 1-3 years of experience in healthcare coordination, counselling, or patient relationship roles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to empathize with patients and provide assurance and clarity. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with healthcare procedures and hospital environments is a plus. Proficiency in using CRM systems or appointment scheduling tools is desirable.
