Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. Provide both outpatient and inpatient care services. Offer specialist opinions for referred patients. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP, EUS depending on training). Supervise and report endoscopic procedures as per hospital protocols. Participate in MDT meetings (e.g., IBD, hepatology, GI cancers). Work closely with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and pathologists. Contribute to departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in service planning and development. upervise junior doctors, trainees, and medical students. Contribute to continuous medical education (CME) programs and clinical teaching.
