SURFACE GRINDING MACHINE OPERATOR

GreenMech Automation is seeking an experienced Surface Grinding Machine Operator to join our precision machining team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating surface grinding machines to achieve high-precision finishes on metal components. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up and operate surface grinding machines to achieve required tolerances and finishes. Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine grinding parameters. Workpiece Setup: Secure and align workpieces using clamps, vices, or fixtures. Quality Inspection: Measure and inspect components using micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision tools . Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve grinding defects such as burns, chatter, and dimensional inaccuracies. Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and ensure proper functioning of grinding equipment. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in surface grinding operations. Skills: Strong understanding of grinding wheel selection, feeds & speeds, and finishing techniques . Ability to work independently and ensure high-quality output.
