As a Chief Fire Officer at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, your role will involve ensuring the safety and security of the vibrant campus community. You will be responsible for developing and implementing fire safety policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with national and international standards. Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems and equipment across the campus. Conducting regular fire drills, training sessions, and awareness programs will be essential to promote a culture of safety among students, faculty, and staff. Collaboration with relevant authorities and emergency services will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure effective response and coordination during fire incidents and other emergencies. Additionally, you will lead a team of dedicated fire safety professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with national and international standards. - Oversee the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems and equipment across campus. - Conduct regular fire drills, training sessions, and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety. - Collaborate with relevant authorities and emergency services for effective response during emergencies. - Lead and mentor a team of fire safety professionals. Qualifications & Skill Sets: - UG and PG in Fire Engineering, Safety Management, or related field. - Age between 50 - 60 years. - 20 years proven experience in fire safety management, preferably in the University/Education system or large-scale organization. - Strong knowledge of fire prevention, suppression techniques, and emergency response strategies. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Relevant certifications such as NFPA, NEBOSH, or equivalent. - Preference to those who worked in the University system as Chief Fire Officer or Head- Fire and Safety.
