GD Goenka World School is looking for dynamic and experienced Academic Coordinators to join our academic leadership team. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of international curricula, particularly the PYP and IBDP frameworks , and demonstrate a commitment to holistic student development. Role & responsibilities Oversee and align the implementation of curriculum across segments (PYP to IBDP). Support faculty with planning, instructional strategies, and curriculum delivery. Monitor academic progress, set benchmarks, and analyse student performance data. Mentor and guide teachers in pedagogical best practices and curriculum standards. Collaborate with department heads, school leadership, and parents to support academic excellence. Develop academic policies, manage assessments, and ensure compliance with curriculum standards. Lead training programs, workshops, and professional development initiatives. Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. Preferred candidate profile Experience: 68 years of relevant experience as an Academic Coordinator or in a senior academic leadership role. Education: Masters degree (preferably in Education or related fields). Strong knowledge of international curriculum frameworks (PYP, MYP, IBDP). Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills. Skilled in parent engagement and student counseling. Proactive, energetic, and self-driven with a collaborative approach. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanour. Candidates with a pleasant personality and a passion for educational excellence will be given preference.
