We are seeking a Support Engineering Manager to lead Shopping Experiences, focused on Core Purchasing, Deals and Asynchronous Purchasing. Your deliverables will directly impact executive leadership team goals and shape the future of shopping experiences with Alexa. You will work with multiple teams across Amazon and Alexa to influence the overall technical direction for optimal outcomes that help shape and deliver, delightful end customer experiences. You will define and drive the top operational and engineering excellence priorities for the Organization.You will have the freedom to experiment, improve and invent on behalf of our customers. Most importantly, you will work for a strong leadership team that optimizes for your growth and pairs you with personalized mentors within and outside the organization, to guide your career.
- 5+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent, or 5+ years of technical work experience- Experience in supporting procedures for production or mission critical environments to include ticketing, monitoring/metrics, and troubleshooting technical issues- Experience working in 24/7 production environment
- Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlinesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
