Job Description

Role Overview: As a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Project Coordinator at GEA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and information across the supply chain. Your responsibilities will include coordinating various supply chain projects, maintaining the integrity of master data, identifying and mitigating risks to material flow, and coordinating activities related to licenses and product costing. To excel in this role, you should possess strong project management skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain principles. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various supply chain projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and objectives. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation. - Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and follow up on progress. - Communicate project status and updates to relevant stakeholders. - Identify and escalate project-related issues and risks in a timely manner. - Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of supply chain master data (e.g., material master, vendor master, customer master). - Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures. - Coordinate data cleansing and validation activities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain data standards. - Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement corrective actions. - Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the material flow process. - Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure timely material availability. - Monitor key supply chain metrics to proactively identify potential issues. - Collaborate with procurement, Exim, logistics, and production teams to address material flow challenges. - Contribute to the development of contingency plans for supply chain disruptions. - Coordinate the acquisition, renewal, and management of necessary licenses and permits related to supply chain operations. - Assist in the collection and analysis of data for product costing calculations. - Support the development of cost optimization initiatives within the supply chain. - Maintain records of licenses and product costing information. - Assist in the implementation and configuration of the ERP system modules related to supply chain.
