As a Purchase Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization by utilizing your strong negotiation skills and expertise in large-scale procurement to ensure quality sourcing, cost efficiency, and vendor reliability for our recycled polymer supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include sourcing and managing suppliers for a variety of recycled polymers such as rPP, rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, and rLLDPE. You will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement that is aligned with sales forecasts, monitoring vendor performance to maintain long-term partnerships, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will be tasked with reducing procurement costs through strategic vendor management. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum qualification of a graduate degree (B.Com/BBA/BE in Chemical/Polymer preferred) and have at least 3+ years of experience in procurement/sourcing, preferably in polymers, plastics, or raw materials. A deep understanding of supplier networks in India and overseas, strong commercial acumen, and proven negotiation skills are essential. You should also have a track record of achieving procurement savings or vendor-related accomplishments.
