As a Yarn Sourcing Executive at Ascento Overseas Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our procurement capabilities and ensuring cost-efficient sourcing to maintain the highest quality standards for export markets. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and supplier management, negotiation and procurement, quality assurance and compliance, market analysis and cost optimization, as well as logistics and supply chain coordination. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in yarn sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management in the textile industry, you will bring in-depth industry knowledge to the table. You should have a strong understanding of different cotton yarn types (combed, carded, open-end, etc.) and their applications, along with comprehensive knowledge of the cotton yarn value chain. Your proven track record of working with spinning mills and yarn manufacturers across India will be essential to successfully manage supplier networks. Your negotiation skills will be put to the test as you secure competitive prices, favorable terms, and long-term supplier relationships. Proficiency in market research, cost analysis, and procurement software/tools will also be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your language skills in English and Hindi, with regional languages as a plus, will enable effective communication. Responsibilities: Lead and scale the Personal Care Appliances category by onboarding leading PCA brands, and launching them across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels. Manage the end-to-end brand lifecycle for global brands to scale in international markets. Build and manage a curated portfolio of brands exclusively in the PCA category. Drive the brand growth through assortment expansion, optimize underperforming SKUs, iterate the packaging, content and supply chain, and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize brand performance. Were seeking someone who knows how to work efficiently with Indian suppliers but can also bring global ESG expectations (ethical labor, low-impact materials, clean manufacturing) into the sourcing process without compromising speed or agility. Key Responsibilities Source and manage vendors for a variety of products including fabrics, bags, promotional merchandise, apparel, and packaging across major hubs in India. Evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, capacity and ESG compliance (e.g., labor practices, environmental impact, certifications). Negotiate best possible pricing, payment terms, and lead times without compromising on compliance. Drive product development: sampling, prototyping, and product refinements.
